Intro
Originally planned as a simple island-hopping trip in the Mediterranean — this journey morphed into something much bigger! With the islands still the anchor, I planned it to coincide with my cousin’s wedding in Jordan at the beginning, and the 2012 London Games at the end! I even tacked on a few other mini-trips along the way like a dip into Africa, a road-trip through southern France and Spain, and even a day-trip to

At the end of this amazing trip through the Mediterranean’s islands and coastal cities, I spent a few days “unwinding” in one of my favorite cities, at the 2012 Olympic Games. Here I’m enjoying the sweeping views from the London Eye in between events.
